ALL SET FOR SCHOOL-CHILDCARE EDUCATION

Each parent wants their child to succeed and be the best student that they could be. The best students are the ones who come to school  prepared to pay attention accept their assignments, and do their best in school, whatever they may be. Here are 5 tips to help your child  become the best student that they could be.
  • Make your child understand that disobedience is not an option
A teacher would consistently say that the best student is those who are well behaved. Good behavior  would start at home not at school because even the best teachers would find  it difficult to discipline a child who has been raised as a disrespectful child. Ensure that your child knows the rules of proper behavior .When they break the rules, enforce them with a firm and even hand. A few research shows that the child’s level of self-control would be positively associated with their school achievement.
  • Assign your  child  a fair share of day-to-day housework
Time and time again, teachers would say that the best students are those who continue to their daily homework.Remember the more responsible a child  is within his or her family, the more responsible they will become.
  • Limit electronic entertainment to non school days only and even then only allow them not more than  5 hours a week.
Screen time of any sort would decrease a child’s attention span. Learning from a real life, flesh-and-blood teacher would require  a student to ask questions, answer questions, and more to memorize some things and listen to what teacher has to say about their paper and correct their mistakes accordingly.
  • Always be interested in your child’s progress in school but do not  get involved to the extent that you will be the one to do the work for him/her.
There is huge difference between being interested and being involved. An interested parent would say that “I am concerned about your studies  but you to be responsible for it.”  An involved parent  would most likely say, “Your education is my responsibility.” Unfortunately, there are  a lot  of  well-intention parents  who accept the responsibility which is supposedly for their children. The result would be  child that would difficulties  taking the proverbial bull by the horns.
  • Whenever your child’s teacher would report a problem, give the teacher the benefit of the doubt not your child.
As a rule, a teacher is more committed into the better welfare of children than any other class professional. Whenever  your child’s teacher would say that your child  has a problem, academically or behaviorally speaking  then it is your child’s best interest in mind. Curb the tendency to become defensive.Instead, listen to your child’s teacher with an open mind and an open heart. You might  learn something that would help you become a better parent.
